Signs of the End

We believe that Jesus will return to Earth to establish his eternal Kingdom of righteousness:

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Titus 2:13 Waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ

Signs of the End
Jesus’ disciples asked him:  Matthew 24:3  What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Wars and Rumors of Wars:

Matthew 24: 6-7  And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Famines, Pestilences, and Earthquakes:
Matthew 24:7 and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Persecution of Believers:

Matthew 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

Spread of False Teachings:

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Lawlessness:
2Tim.3:1-3, 13  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers…unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers…fierce, despisers of those that are good. Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
 
Preaching of the Gospel:

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
