Whatever is Coming There is Hope

You may have found this site because something in the world isn't sitting right with you. Good. That instinct is worth following — all the way to the answer.

We spend a lot of time on this site looking at difficult headlines — wars, surveillance, global power grabs, and signs that something big is approaching. But none of that is the main point. The main point is this: God is not surprised by any of it. He saw it coming thousands of years ago, He wrote it down, and He made a way through it for you.

And the way is breathtakingly simple.

God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

That word — whosoever — is you. It doesn’t matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, or how far you feel from God right now. The invitation is open.

Salvation is simple. Jesus himself said you must become like a little child to enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 18:3). A child doesn’t earn a gift. A child just receives it. That’s the whole idea.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Revelation 3:20

Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart right now. All you need to do is open it — confess that you’re a sinner who needs Him, and ask Him to come in. He has promised that He will.

A Story from the Cross

The Dying Thief

As Jesus hung dying, one of the criminals crucified beside him turned and said, “Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” He hadn’t been baptized. He hadn’t attended a single church service. He hadn’t been through any program or catechism. He simply knew he was a sinner, and he believed Jesus was who He said He was. Jesus replied: “Today you will be with me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:39–43)

That’s how simple it is. That’s how immediate it is. That’s how real it is.

A Story from the Road

Saul Becomes Paul

Saul was no seeker. He was an enemy of Christ — actively hunting down and killing Christians. Then he met Jesus on the road to Damascus. In that encounter, he confessed Jesus as Lord, and Saul became Paul — who went on to write much of the New Testament and plant churches across the ancient world. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

Whosoever. Even Saul. Even you.

GRACE
God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2:8–9

You cannot earn this. You cannot be good enough, attend enough services, or do enough good deeds to deserve eternal life. That’s actually the point — Jesus did what we could never do for ourselves. He paid the full price on the cross. Salvation is His gift to you, received by faith alone.

He saved us, not because of our works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.

Titus 3:5

Jesus doesn’t just save you — He keeps you saved. Eternal life doesn’t come with an expiration date or a revocation clause. Here’s what Scripture says about the security of your salvation:

If something has stirred in you reading this — that’s not an accident. You can ask Jesus to come into your life right now. There are no magic words. God looks at the heart. But if it helps to have a starting point, here is a simple prayer:

A Prayer to Begin
You Can Talk to Him Right Now
Dear Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God, and that You took my punishment and died for me. Please forgive me for all my sins. I know that I can never be good enough to save myself, so I ask You to please come into my heart, fill me with Your Spirit, and give me Your free gift of eternal life. Amen.
If you prayed that — or something like it — and meant it, something real just happened. Welcome to the family. What comes next is a lifetime of discovery.

Salvation is the beginning, not the end. Here are some good next steps:
